Resumo

A Nova Reforma Apostólica (NRA) é um movimento cristão contemporâneo com alcance global. Milhares de igrejas são contadas entre suas numerosas, intrincadas e crescentes redes. Este artigo visa mostrar que existem razões teológicas e litúrgicas, contidas no código genético das igrejas apostólicas contemporâneas, que constituem um formidável elemento unificador característico de sua cultura globalizante. Uma dessas influências, constantemente mencionada mas pouco estudada formalmente, está na área de culto e louvor à música e seu uso litúrgico nas igrejas Neo-Apostólicas. Portanto, antes de tudo, é apresentada brevemente a evolução das diversas correntes teológicas que se uniram para formar a ARN. As duas seções seguintes descrevem como as características atuais da adoração e da música de louvor dentro do NRA tomaram forma. Finalmente, cinco dimensões são propostas para caracterizar o movimento de adoração e louvor hoje: a presença de Deus ou sacramentalidade de AA como inspiração, o avivamento como motivação, a tecnologia como instrumento, a transformação cultural como missão e o domínio como objetivo final. Conclui-se que, embora não haja uniformidade doutrinária e litúrgica monolítica, pode-se falar de uma cultura, teologia do culto, linguagem ritual e práticas que unificam o NRA globalmente, permitindo a disseminação de idéias e bens religiosos dentro de um mercado religioso altamente expansivo.
